At Minimum, we have developed a scheme classifying different fibers into the four groups: Preferred, Accepted, Tolerated, and Avoided. This classification has been developed to help the production team – design and purchasing – to make better choices in their work process. From the classification, we have developed a material strategy with the focus on outphasing conventional fibers as much as possible and viable for our business. Our strategy focuses on our main fibers: cotton, polyester, and cellulose fibers as these fibers are where we have the biggest impact.
DEVELOPMENT TOWARDS 2030
Our material strategy has a timeframe, starting from 2023 up to 2030. To ensure the strategy is maintained and executed in our everyday, we monitor the development of our sourced fibers once every six months.
